The Halgrove puppies are taking the ring by storm. Both Hannah, Ch. Halgrove Hilda and Bond, Halgrove Bondjamesbond have had some great wins in August, September and October.
Bond has taken 5 Baby Puppy in Group awards, 3 1st places in 3-6mths sweepstakes and 2 2nd places in 3-6mths sweepstakes since his successful debute on August 22nd 2009.
Hannah has since 8th of August been short listed 3 times and has taken 4 Intermediate in Group awards.
Halgrove elkhounds are deffinantly makeing themselves known!
Halgrove is currently the number 2 Norwegian Elkhound Breeders in Australia.
Ch. Halgrove Hilda is currently the Number 2 Norwegian Elkhound in Australia and Currently the Number 1 Norwegian Elkhound Bitch in Australia.

Hannah does it twice...
Ch. Halgrove Hilda takes out the Bitch CC and Runner Up Best of Breed at both the Sydney and Canberra Royal shows 2009.

Hannah was 3 weeks shy of 18 months against bitches twice her age and dogs also twice her age. Her mother took out Res. CC Bitch at both Royals also.

Hannah's career started on 26th January 2008 in the Baby Puppy class. By June, her career took a great turn. With in three months, she took two Minor Puppy in Group awards, one Puppy in Group award, several Runner Up Best of Breeds and Best of Breed awards, and in July, her first Challenge win of 8 points. After a short break, she was back in the ring again to be awarded with yet another Puppy in Group award bringing her total to four. Exactly one year after starting her show career, Hannah won the Bitch Challeng of 10 points bring her total to 103 making her an Australian Champion on Australia Day.

Hannah, pictured above has made a successful start to the first year in showing. She has taken many challenge and best of breed awards and also many Res. challenge and runner up best of breed awards. She has also seen two Minor Puppy in Groups and two Puppy in Groups.
Hannah finished off 2008 with only seven points to go to her title. Hannah is in nationally 5th best Elkhound in Australia for 2008* This makes Hannah the 3rd best Norwegian Elkhound bitch of 2008* and also the 2nd best Norwegian Elkhound Bitch in NSW of 2008*. Hannah is also the 3rd Norwegian Elkhound on the Dogzonline rising star and also making the top 50 list of rising stars in NSW for 2008*. Not bad for a young elkhound only starting off in a long career in the show ring.
